Stengel Protestant Church

This building, along with the Reformed Church of Neu-Sarrewerden, is one of the few remaining examples of Protestant architecture known as "Breitsaalkirche." Designed to facilitate preaching, this unique layout arranges the pews in a wide horseshoe shape around the "Kanzelaltar," an altar integrated into the pulpit. The entire building was listed as a Historic Monument on November 15, 1985, recognizing its heritage value and its importance in the religious and architectural history of the region.
