Stengel Protestant Church
This Protestant church in Alsace Bossue stands out for its sober and typical architecture.
It is a simple rectangular hall topped by an old belfry that reflects its history as a sanctuary dating back to the 16th century.
Its uniqueness lies in a feature rare for the region, though previously seen in Grävenwiesbach where J-F Stengel designed his first religious building.
Inside, the nave is bathed in light thanks to a double row of openings: square windows at the lower level illuminate the main space, while arched bays above light the galleries.
