Stockmatt Fishing Pond

Founded in 1949, this fishing association brings together 60 passionate members around a friendly activity by the water. It provides private fishing spots located in Woerth and Oberdorf-Spachbach, with reciprocal fishing opportunities in the communes of Goersdorf, Mattstall, and Lembach. Anglers can enjoy first-category fishing along the banks of the Sauer River, as well as in ponds accessible on certain Sunday mornings.

The site has been completely renovated, and the fisherman's house was rebuilt in 2020 to offer a pleasant and functional setting. It allows both young and old to enjoy relaxing moments and memorable fishing sessions.

Catch-and-release fishing is practiced in the carp pond, where caught carp, pike, and tench must be released back into the water.
