Sundgau Mountain Biking Area

With 33 marked trails covering over 700 km, the Sundgau mountain biking area is the largest in Alsace. It offers a wide variety of routes for all levels and preferences. The five green trails, each under 10 km, follow beautiful paths and are perfect for families and beginners. The fifteen blue trails, ranging from 11 to 22 km, remain accessible while offering varied landscapes. For experienced riders, nine red trails require good technical skills, while the four black trails are very demanding, featuring significant elevation changes and long distances. Detailed guides and a map of the 33 trails are available at the Sundgau Tourist Office in Altkirch or Ferrette.

They can be obtained on-site, sent by mail (€5 plus postage), or viewed online on partner platforms like Komoot. GPX tracks for each route are also downloadable for independent navigation.
