Sundial of the Saint-Wendelin Chapel

In the garden of the Saint-Wendelin chapel, built in 1566 in Mutzig, stands a column topped with a cubic sandstone block. This monument, heavily weathered over time, still bears traces of the hour lines of an old horizontal sundial. Although the exact style of the instrument has disappeared, experts believe it dates from the late 17th or early 18th century.
