Suzanne Husky's Bogue

Bogue is a hollow, spiny habitat designed by artist Suzanne Husky using local wood.

It draws inspiration from the burrs that encase certain fruits, like chestnuts or horse chestnuts.

These natural, rigid, and spiky coverings protect developing seeds from predators.

Once released at maturity, they allow trees to grow.

Like the tents and caravans of the neighboring campsite, Bogue offers a welcoming refuge where one can slip inside to experience an intimate connection with nature.

Surrounded by small shrubs, this work invites both children and adults to discover the dangers of living things while promoting more environmentally respectful tourism. It is located at the entrance of the Camping des Luppins in Seppois-le-Bas.
