Swiss Quarter

This modest neighborhood, made up of small agricultural workers' houses, probably gets its name from the region's turbulent history.

After the Thirty Years' War, many Swiss came to settle in Alsace to help rebuild it. This migration flow likely gave the neighborhood its name, reflecting this period of repopulation and renewal.
