The Angel's Courtyard - The Balcony

Nestled in the heart of Colmar, this family-run vineyard offers a haven of greenery and tranquility. Two winemaking families welcome visitors to guest rooms and furnished holiday rentals right in the middle of their vineyard estate.

Originally, two or even three generations lived together on this estate. The central courtyard served as a communal living space: it housed kitchens, gathering areas for meals and rest, as well as stables, barns, and sheds. The first floor, reserved for parents and grandparents, contained private lounges and bedrooms. The second floor, occupied by the children and their families, consisted of a series of bedrooms and lounges. The third floor was home to the workers' quarters.

Today, this tradition of diversity and conviviality continues. Myriam, Cécile, and Caroline (Martin's partner) open the doors of their estate and welcome you into their private apartments. They offer guest rooms including overnight stays and homemade breakfast. The Balcony apartment, located in a half-timbered Alsatian house, is one of these typical accommodations managed by a winemaker.
