The Beekeeping Space

Around a bend stands the beekeeping space, an elegant contemporary building made of dark wood. Under its roof, a permanent exhibition and a beekeeping area share the same space dedicated to the discovery of beekeeping.

Built in 1994, the exhibition gathers a rich collection of objects related to this activity: traditional tools, hives of various shapes, specialized books, engravings, and vintage advertisements are presented in a playful and accessible way for all audiences.

Nearby, the beekeeping area run by amateur beekeepers offers an immersive experience. Visitors can share the passion of these enthusiasts and observe the bustling and hardworking life of the bees. Depending on the seasons and nature's generosity, the beekeepers produce different honeys: flower honey, acacia honey, honey from the great firs of the Vosges, or mountain honey. Their expertise transforms flower nectar into a tasty product that delights gourmets.
