The Bergeronnettes

Perched in the heart of the Vosges, in Wangenbourg, the Bergeronnettes cottage welcomes you in a fully renovated old forge from 1831.

This house, which breathes calm and authenticity, offers a restful stay in a preserved natural setting, ideal for disconnecting. Completely redesigned, the accommodation combines modern comfort with Vosges rustic charm, featuring local woodwork and decor harmonizing with its forest and mountain environment. It opens onto a terrace overlooking a stream, within a small shaded courtyard, and has a private entrance for added privacy. Inside, you will enjoy a spacious kitchen, a bright dining/living room, a double bedroom, a sofa bed, and separate sanitary facilities (shower, sinks, and toilet). The cottage, family-friendly, can accommodate 2 to 4 people and offers a baby bed and chair on request. It is ideally located for nature lovers: at the start of several hiking trails, including four trans-Vosges GR routes (GR 53, GR 531, GR 532, and GR 534), near marked mountain bike trails in the Schneeberg massif, and close to the Vosges Massif Crossing (TMV). Cyclists will also be delighted, with famous passes nearby such as Valsberg, Pandours, and Hengst. This place also serves as a base to explore Alsace, its must-sees like the Wine Route, Obernai, or Mont Sainte-Odile, as well as its hidden villages, which the owners will be happy to introduce you to.

Strasbourg is accessible by shuttle bus for €2.50 per trip, while neighboring Lorraine offers getaways to Dabo, the Saint-Louis-Arzviller Inclined Plane, Sarrebourg, or the Sainte-Croix Animal Park.
