The Botanical Garden
In the heart of Strasbourg, the University Botanical Garden, founded in 1619 and located at its current site since 1884, is a living museum dedicated to plant diversity.
Spanning 3.5 hectares, it houses over 6,000 species, including some rare or remarkable ones.
The collections are organized into several areas: an arboretum, a botanical school, and a group of greenhouses, one of which is classified as a historic monument. These spaces, serving as centers for study and exploration, offer visitors an immersion into the richness of the plant world. The garden is designated as a "Remarkable Garden."
