The Bruche: Along the Water
The Bruche originates at an altitude of 690 meters on the western slope of the Climont.
Initially modest, this stream first flows through a wide sunlit basin known as the Clairière du Hang.
Downstream, the valley narrows in places before gradually widening between two mountain ranges with distinct geological features: the granite massif of Champ du Feu to the west and the sandstone massif of Donon to the east. Fed by four main tributaries – the Climontaine, the Schirgoutte, the Rothaine, and the Framont – the Bruche enjoys excellent water quality.
This watercourse, classified as category I, is a true paradise for fishing enthusiasts.
