The Butchers' Tower
The Butchers' Tower stands as the last witness to a much larger defensive complex.
Once, fifteen similar towers framed the ramparts of the medieval city, now largely vanished.
Only this tower, classified as a historic relic, has endured through the centuries to remind us of the strategic importance of these fortifications.
At its base, fragments of the enclosing wall still recall the extent of this protection system, now partially visible and integrated into the urban landscape.
