The Capucines' Jewel

The cottage "The Capucines' Jewel" occupies an 18th-century building in Bergholtz, a wine village nestled at the foot of the Grand Ballon, between vineyards and forests. Ideally situated on the Alsace Wine Route, it is 20 minutes from Colmar and Mulhouse, and one hour from Strasbourg. Bergholtz is also known for its pink sandstone quarry, accessible via the "Quarries Trail," and its preserved setting blending nature and local heritage.

This former rural house, called "La Longère des Capucines," has been renovated into two independent cottages: "The Capucines' Cocoon" and "The Capucines' Jewel." These accommodations combine the authenticity of exposed stone and woodwork with contemporary decor, offering a warm and elegant atmosphere. Two outdoor spaces blending stone and wood enhance the property's charm.

The Capucines' Jewel spans 90 m² over two levels. On the ground floor, a welcoming entrance hall greets visitors. Upstairs, a spacious living area combining lounge and dining room, a fully equipped kitchen, two bedrooms with double beds (160 x 200 cm), a bathroom with walk-in shower, and separate toilets. A laundry room is also available, equipped with a washing machine, dryer, and ironing essentials. Cleaning supplies are provided, and a cleaning service can be arranged for an additional €60.

The accommodation includes a television and free internet access. Bed and bath linens are available on request for an extra charge. In accordance with regulations, this cottage is strictly non-smoking. Pets are accepted under conditions, after prior consultation with the owner.

Close to all amenities, the cottage benefits from a bakery less than 20 meters away, a convenience store in Issenheim (5 minutes by car), a supermarket 6 minutes away, as well as the "Nautilia" aquatic center and a cinema in Guebwiller, both reachable in 6 minutes. Major roads are easily accessible within 5 minutes, and free parking is available opposite the cottage. Rates vary depending on the season (low, mid, or high) and should be checked directly with the owner. Tourist taxes are additional.
