The Conservation Orchard

This conservation orchard, created by the Union of Fruit Growers and Producers with the support of local authorities, aims to preserve local fruit varieties and traditional know-how. It also serves as a learning site where both children and adults discover the natural cycles of plants and fruits.

It is accessible year-round except during the cherry harvest period and is crossed by a trail of the Vosgien Club. During this season, self-picking is allowed according to a specific schedule: Wednesdays from 4:30 PM to 7:30 PM, Saturdays from 2 PM to 6 PM, and Sundays from 9 AM to 12 PM. The price is €3 per kilogram, all varieties included.

Please note that the orchard does not provide ladders for insurance reasons, but visitors may bring their own equipment at their own risk.

An exhibition is also planned during the Messti of Westhoffen in the Tramway hall on November 8, 2026.
