The Cote 425 Vineyard
Perched in the heart of the Porte Sud vineyards, the Cote 425 vineyard overlooks the Alsace plain, offering an open view of Cernay.
Completely devastated during World War I, it was replanted in 1920, and today bears reminders of that period: memorial monuments, oratories, and bunker remains recall the battles that took place there.
Its terroir and privileged exposure favor the cultivation of Pinot Noir, notably the famous red from Steinbach, as well as all Alsatian grape varieties.
To facilitate the discovery of this historically rich site, a wine trail has been established, ideal for walks, especially with family.
