The Diaconate
This picturesque building, reminiscent of a small manor, is actually the property of the Dierstein-Valade family, wool merchants. Built in 1858, it has a local history dating back even further, as the retirement home it now houses originated in 1721. At the beginning of the 20th century, the building was converted into a facility for elderly care, continuing a social mission started nearly three centuries earlier.
