The Echo of the Sprigs

Basket maker and willow grower, Lucy Rocchitelli draws on her passion for materials, shapes, textures, and colors to create basketry works that are both functional and artistic.

She also creates plant architecture, always made to order and tailored to her clients' specific needs.

Her creations, whether tiny or monumental, rely on ancestral techniques while incorporating a touch of innovation. Working mainly with willow and wild plants, she perpetuates gestures passed down through the ages, giving them a contemporary resonance.
