The Faudé Tower
In the heart of the Kaysersberg valley, in the Pays Welche, stands the Faudé Tower, a place steeped in history.
The first tower, built in 1889, was destroyed by French shells in 1934.
A second version, constructed at the initiative of the Club Vosgiens, met the same fate in 1944 under German fire.
It was only in 1990 that the current tower was erected by members of the association *Les Fadas*, marking its rebirth. Today, accessible only on foot, it rewards hikers with a 360° view of the surrounding landscapes of the Pays Welche.
