The Israelite Cemetery
Dating back to before 1366, this Jewish cemetery in Alsace is one of the largest and oldest in France. Set within a peaceful forest setting, it covers an area of 4 hectares and houses more than 6,000 graves. Still in use today, this place of remembrance remains open to the public, except on Saturdays, the day of Shabbat.
