The "Jardin d’Amira," a Little Biodiversity Paradise
The Jardin d’Amira is a 12-acre green haven nestled just steps from the center of Munster, between river and forest.
Created by Elsi, a ceramic artist and musician, and Michel, a novelist and children's author, this unusual place combines creativity and a passion for nature.
Walking its paths, you will discover a generous orchard, a permaculture vegetable garden, a peaceful pond, a welcoming greenhouse, a traditional well, and a shaded gazebo.
This garden hosts a great diversity of plant and animal species. Chickens and ducks, true residents of the place, roam freely. With some luck, you might spot a salamander, a hedgehog, the koi carp in the pond, a kingfisher, or a ballet of dragonflies. Léo, the squirrel mascot, adds a charming touch to this enchanting setting.
Depending on the moment, Elsi and Michel will show you their self-sufficient house, built with a wooden frame, straw, and earth. They can also captivate your children with stories or offer you homemade apple juice or herbal tea from the garden, enjoyed in the Datcha, a friendly space at the heart of the garden.
An original and unforgettable visit awaits you.
