The Last Supper in Ceramic
Created in ceramic using the sandstone-cement technique for the 1932 Eucharistic Congress, this life-size work was modeled by local potter artists Léon and Fernand Elchinger as well as Charles Burger. Their inspiration comes from Leonardo da Vinci's fresco, painted in Milan between 1495 and 1497.
You can admire this creation in the old fortified cemetery called Oelberg, also known as Mount of Olives.
This site is distinguished by its imposing rampart walls and is located very close to the church.
