The Leimbach Vineyard
At Kalkgruben, nestled in a forested setting and perched above the village of Leimbach, the first wine village on the Alsace Wine Route, the grapes harvested are used to produce the Pinot Gris "Clos Gottestal." This preserved terroir offers a peaceful environment and an unobstructed view of the surrounding vineyards.
At Obere-Heiden, on sunny slopes facing the Grand Cru Rangen, about six hectares of vines are dedicated to growing Pinot Blanc, Pinot Noir, and Chardonnay. These grape varieties are mainly used for producing Crémant d’Alsace. If you enjoy sparkling wines, this tasting is a must before you leave.
