The Lourdes Grotto

Perched on the road leading to Neewiller, this place of reflection was built in 1901 by a village couple who had lost two newborns. Moved by their grief, the local priest advised them to build a grotto inspired by the one in Lourdes.

Once the work was completed, the couple experienced the joy of welcoming two more children.

This modest site, born from a vow and deep faith, has since attracted those seeking comfort or inspiration.
