The Luttenbach Apiary
For three generations, the Tonnelier family has passionately upheld the art of beekeeping. Today, Théo-René Tonnelier, the third in this lineage, continues the tradition by producing authentic, high-quality honey, respecting nature and ancestral methods.
Located in Breitenau, in the heart of the Villé Valley, the Luttenbach Apiary benefits from a preserved natural environment. Flowering meadows and forests with diverse tree species provide the bees with an exceptional terroir, ideal for creating honeys with unique aromas.
The range includes seven Alsace honey varieties, all IGP certified by Certipaq. These include liquid or creamy flower honey, acacia, chestnut, forest, linden, and the renowned Vosges fir honey. Several of these honeys have been awarded at the Paris Concours Général Agricole, attesting to their excellence.
The honeys are available for purchase at local markets or directly from the beekeeper. To immerse yourself in the world of bees and learn about beekeeping, apiary visits are organized by appointment.
