The Maison du Kochersberg

Founded in 1980 by the Association of Friends of the Maison du Kochersberg, this institution aims to highlight local heritage. Through regularly updated exhibitions supported by numerous lenders, it now offers a dynamic and accessible museum experience. Housed in a modern and renovated building, the Maison du Kochersberg is part of the cultural hub of Truchtersheim. It notably features a reconstruction of a typical late 19th-century interior, as well as a fully equipped shoemaker's workshop. Throughout the year, various exhibitions are organized here, covering themes such as traditional Alsatian headdresses and costumes, as well as the history of hops and beer.
