The Mulberry Apiary

Founded in 1942, Le Rucher des Mûriers is a family-run Alsatian business now led by Laurent Fichter, great-grandson of the founder. Driven by the same passion for bees and nature, he continues this legacy with his family and a dedicated team, offering each customer an authentic experience connected to this local heritage.

With over two hundred hives, the apiary produces a wide variety of honeys, whose flavors change with the seasons and the blossoms visited by the bees. The hives are also moved to follow the best nectar sources, ensuring high-quality honey.

Products include acacia honey, creamy honey, flower honey, linden, forest, and fir honey, as well as beeswax candles, honey candies, gingerbread, mead, and nougat. All products come from certified organic production (AB) and benefit from the Protected Geographical Indication Alsace Honey.

Alongside its main activity, Le Rucher des Mûriers continues the tradition of embossing beeswax. As one of the last wax embossers in Alsace, the company supplies high-quality embossed wax to beekeepers, helping preserve hive health and providing bees with an environment conducive to their development.
