The Old Battenheim Flour Mill (called Stackler Mill)
Built in the 18th century on the banks of the Quatelbach, this mill played a significant role in local history through its operation until around 1970. After closing, it was restored and transformed into modern housing. During its working days, the Quatelbach stream had a practical use: its waters were used to bathe horses, an essential step for draft and pack animals.
