The Old Synagogue
The presence of a Jewish community in Rosheim has been documented since 1215. Its significance grew notably from the 17th century onwards. To meet its needs, the first synagogue was inaugurated in 1884. A new building was then re-inaugurated in 1959. Although the synagogue is now closed to the public, its neo-Romanesque façade, characteristic of the architecture of the time, can still be admired.
