The Panoramic Terrace of the Vauban Dam
Just a few meters from the Covered Bridges stands the Vauban Dam, also known as the Great Lock.
Built around 1690 by Tarade based on Vauban's plans, this dam once allowed the southern front of the city to be flooded in case of threat.
Today, its summit hosts a pleasant panoramic terrace, offering a breathtaking view of the entire urban layout and the canals that cross it.
