The Ramparts

The inner wall of the old town stretched 1,400 meters and was protected by about twenty towers as well as four fortified gates.

Today, the wide rampart walk that bordered it has been transformed into a pleasant promenade, offering a leisurely space in the heart of this historic heritage.
