The Reunion of Mulhouse with France

Commissioned by the city of Mulhouse to artist Daniel Dyminski for the festivities marking the Bicentennial of Mulhouse's Reunion with France, this mural captures a scene of popular jubilation.

It takes place in front of the Town Hall facade, easily recognizable by its imposing covered double-flight staircase.

The artwork highlights the red and white flag, a historic symbol of the Republic of Mulhouse, thus recalling the city's local identity and history.
