The Reunion of Mulhouse with France
In Mulhouse, Daniel Dyminski left several artistic creations, ranging from sculpture to painting.
Among them, a mural located at the corner of Jacques Priess and Tour du Diable streets commemorates the bicentennial of the city's annexation to France in 1798.
Before this date, Mulhouse was an independent city-state.
The mural illustrates the scene of this historic reunion in front of the town hall, recognizable by its dominant blue tones. In the foreground, riders wear the colors of the former Republic of Mulhouse, a legacy of Swiss colors.
