The Rocher de Mutzig

Perched at an altitude of 1008 meters, the Rocher de Mutzig overlooks the Bruche valley and offers an exceptional 360-degree panorama. From its summit, you can see the surrounding massifs such as Donon, Schneeberg, and Champ du Feu.

Its summit formations, often composed of puddingstones—conglomerates of sandstone embedded with numerous small pebbles—give it a unique geology.

The rock is named after the Mutzig forest it overlooks.

Along with the Porte de Pierre and Donon, it is a must-see for hikers exploring the western side of the Bruche valley.
