The Synagogue of Peace

The synagogue and the Community Center were built in 1954.

This large building, located on the edge of Contades Park, marks the history of the local Jewish community.

It also recalls the existence of a large neo-Romanesque synagogue, once located along Quai Kléber, but destroyed by the Nazis in 1940.
