The Town Hall
This remarkable site is distinguished by its large Renaissance portal with a broken pediment, adorned with the city's coat of arms.
Inside, the reception office of the Seltz - Lauterbourg Tourist Office is located here.
On the staircase landing, a Roman altar discovered in 1891 near the church is preserved.
Dedicated to Jupiter, this altar likely comes from a sacred place and bears witness to the Roman occupation of the site.
Finally, the clock mechanism, designed by Schwilgué (1776-1856), the renowned restorer of the Strasbourg Cathedral clock, kept time for the church tower until 1991.
