The Virgin's Grotto

Initiated in 1946 by Father Weber, this grotto was built by the villagers to express their gratitude to the Virgin.

They wished to mark the fact that their locality had been spared during World War II (1939-1945).

The project, which spanned several years, was completed with the solemn inauguration of the grotto in 1946.

This place of devotion remains today a testimony of faith and collective memory.
