The Well of Six Buckets
Erected in 1579 in a Renaissance style by a team of artisans from Strasbourg, this historic well is distinguished by its architectural elegance.
Originally, it was covered with now-lost paintings. Three slender columns topped with Corinthian capitals support a richly decorated octagonal canopy. The sculptures adorning it are inspired by scenes from the New Testament, reflecting the craftsmanship and devotion of the artisans of the time.
