Thérèse School
Built in 1905, this school stands out for its neo-Renaissance architecture and sculpted decorations depicting allegories of work and wisdom.
Its interior layout, including specialized rooms such as those for drawing, singing, or gymnastics, as well as innovative features like central heating and electric lighting, reflects a new vision of education and childhood.
This building also marks a shift in school organization: neighborhood schools now handle the entire schooling period, not just the early years. Note that this site is not open to visitors.
