Tithe House

Opposite the church once stood the old tithe house of the Munster Abbey. This is where the inhabitants came to pay their taxes. Today, a building dating from the turn of the 18th and 19th centuries occupies this site.

It is distinguished by a large carriage door and a simple yet symbolic decoration: a sandstone plaque featuring a relief of Marianne's face, the allegory of the French Republic, flanked by two sculpted lion heads. These elements recall the local history and republican values.
