Tivoli Park

This small park, brightened by flower beds and remarkable trees including a Ginkgo and a magnificent Plane tree, also offers a playground for children. It is especially home to the Schweissdissi, a colossal statue representing a worker. This piece, purchased by the City of Mulhouse from Switzerland at the beginning of the 20th century, was originally intended for the Place de la Réunion. However, during its redevelopment in 1909, it was moved to its current location. Originally, this square belonged to a society that organized horticulture courses and exhibitions there. Shortly before World War I, it was transferred to the City and transformed into a public garden.
