Tour Guide - Véronique HERBRETEAU
A native and resident of Strasbourg, this passionate and expert tour guide shares her love for her city and region.
Holding a degree in art history and a master's in museology, she has been leading tours for 25 years, certified by the Villes et Pays d’Art et d’Histoire label in Alsace. Her fully customizable tours cover must-see sites like Strasbourg Cathedral and the old town, as well as unusual routes exploring Jewish heritage, cathedral secrets, and connections with Freemasons. She also offers tastings of local products, wine tours, and Alsatian gastronomic discoveries. Her authorization allows visits to the European Parliament. In Alsace, she guides in Colmar, including the Unterlinden and Bartholdi museums, along the wine route with stops at selected cellars and winemakers, as well as in Riquewihr, the Struthof camp, Haut-Koenigsbourg castle, the Maginot Line, and through local tales, legends, and traditions. The first guide awarded the tourism medal in Alsace, she tailors each visit to her visitors' wishes.
