Tower known as Junker Hansen Turm or Witches' Tower

Perched 20 meters high, the Witches' Tower stands as the closest tower to the castle on the vineyard side. Built in the 14th century, it was part of a detention system like other towers in the town, where thieves and criminals were imprisoned until the Revolution. Today, this historic tower is directly connected to the former Reichenstein residence, a building now transformed into the 5-star hotel-restaurant Le Chambard.
