Town Hall 1833
The Sainte-Marie-aux-Mines town hall, constructed in 1833 in a neoclassical style, stands on the site of a former small castle. Inside, the municipal council chamber is notable for its murals depicting three significant eras: the town in 1760, 16th-century mining activity, and 19th-century textile industry. The town hall also preserves extensive municipal archives, notably the Degermann collection, which includes seals, stamps, plans, and drawings dating from the 16th to the 19th century.
