Transport Conservatory
Dive into a journey through time at the Conservatoire des Transports, where over 180 vintage vehicles come to life.
This unique collection includes around a hundred coaches of all makes and eras, historic trucks, carriages, antique cars, and a dedicated agricultural area. Period scenes and workshops are recreated to immerse visitors in the history of transportation and past lifestyles.
Guided tours, led by volunteers from the Association Autocars Anciens de France, are offered to groups of 15 or more in French, German, or English. Reservation is mandatory, with a flat supplement fee of €60. This option is also available to individuals upon request under the same conditions. Each visitor becomes a temporary member for three months, granting a second free visit.
The Conservatoire warmly welcomes all visitors and collectors. On the first Sunday of each month, a free exhibition of vintage vehicles is held in the site's courtyard, accompanied by a small refreshment stand.
Optional services such as rides on vintage coaches, traditional meals, additional visits, or wine tastings can be arranged by the reception service for groups. A named list of participants must be provided eight days before the group's arrival.
