Trinity Chapel

The chapel was built in 1740 by A. Gauss to provide a resting place for pilgrims crossing the Bruche valley. Long known as Laxerkapelle, it is sometimes linked to a legend that Saint Benedict Joseph Labre visited it in the 18th century. Its name may derive from Old German, meaning "Grabhügelkapelle," suggesting a burial site. In 1850, Jacques Burstert erected a cross just in front of the building.
