Trough - Auge in Osenbach
At the heart of the Osenbach municipal campsite lies a sandstone trough, a historical remnant once installed on Heidenberg Street. Previously connected to the Virgin Fountain's water system, it illustrates the village's water supply system before the 19th-century technical changes. Until 1844, Osenbach's fountains relied on wooden pipes, gradually replaced by terracotta pipes starting in 1847. Today, the four fountains still in operation in the village are each supplied by independent sources, ensuring their autonomous functioning.
