Trout Fishing Tourist Route Carspach - Altkirch

Between the towns of Altkirch and Carspach, the Ill River offers trout fishing routes managed by the AAPPMA Sud Alsace. Local regulations, available from authorized vendors, apply to these sites. Fishing is allowed only on a NO-KILL basis, even with an annual federal card thanks to a reciprocity agreement. Only one line is permitted, using techniques such as fly fishing, spoons, or lures. The opening of pike fishing marks the start of using certain lures. Barbless hooks are mandatory. A fishing license is required to fish these routes, available at the Sundgau Tourist Office, the Dannemarie fishing shop, and from AAPPMA Sud Alsace.
