Twin Gabled Patrician Houses
Built in 1521 by Reinhard Wide, a prosperous silver mine owner, these two twin houses are a remarkable example of Renaissance architecture in Kaysersberg.
Located in the heart of the town, they stand out for their symmetry and period elegance.
The left house, classified as a historic monument, has housed the Historical Museum since 1972, displaying collections that trace local history.
On the right, the other building hosts a restaurant where visitors can admire an impressive fireplace decorated with Renaissance motifs, adding an authentic touch to the experience.
