Vauban Museum
The collections are showcased through various technologies: video projection, dynamic lighting, and touchscreens. From the welcome room, visitors embark on a journey into the past of Neuf-Brisach and its famous builder, Vauban. A bust of the architect serves as a canvas for photorealistic mapping that animates his story and iconic works. 2D and 3D illustrations and animations enrich the narrative. A mapping projection on the restored city model and its fortifications, faithful to the original relief plan, illustrates their construction and evolution over the centuries. In the second room, objects, paintings, and archival maps are displayed. Two interactive touchscreens allow exploration of digitized documents, sorted by date and theme.
